Recently moving here from Denver and being pretty well traveled, I’ve come to the conclusion that Florida has some of the crappiest drivers. I mean I come from driving on snow packed highways in 100 mph white out conditions and people slowed down & looked out for each other. Granted there were more SUVs and people drove further, but come on Florida.
I’ve come to nickname cars parking in the median to turn the “Florida”. Everyone does that here and sometimes more than 1 car to turn in the same direction. Also no one ever stops at the yield signs from an off ramp. I’ve given up on this one, if I see a car coming in from a hwy offramp I just expect that they blow right through the yield. And it seems like people don’t even realize that it’s crappy driving. I mean I’ve cut people off before and I knew it was dick, but people here just don’t realize it. And I hear it gets worse once the purple-haired snowbirds move in. Damn I lived in Denver for 8 years and got hit once, I’ve only been here for 3 months and I already got backed into. When the accident happened the lady wasn’t even like “sorry” or “my bad”. It was more like here’s my insurance and “deal with it”. It’s akin to when a little kid spills their kool-aid on you and then skips saying “sorry” for “I didn’t mean to do it”.

Yeah! Drivers suck here. Especially the people that moved here from other states and are sight-seeing instead of driving!
Some lady named Donna takes offense at the old purple haired snow bird comment, as she is a snow bird. And by the way, she says her computer is making a “funny” noise. Can you fix it?
First of all, why would you move from such a beautiful place as Colorado to the cesspool of Florida. I am counting the days until I can do just the opposite. Second, yield doesn’t mean stop, the people who stop are the bad ones, yield means hit the gas and blend with traffic.
Home run with the yield signs.
Yield means oncoming traffic has the right-of-way. The sign indicates that I should not have to think about your sorry a$$ or what an idiot you are. Unfortunately, I must. It doesn’t work that way in other parts of the world.
Hey Greg, good luck hitting the gas on snow packed roads in Colorado to “blend” in.
